About the Founder & Creator
KC Lowther is an early childhood creative, storyteller, and emotional education advocate with a deep love for little minds and big feelings. With a background in working closely with young children and families, KC believes in the quiet power of stories to help children make sense of their inner world.
Inspired by nature, imagination, and the emotional journey of growing up, she created Heartwood Tales—a gentle, magical universe designed to nurture empathy, resilience, and self-awareness through storytelling.
KC’s heart beats for meaningful, beautiful things that help children feel seen, safe, and celebrated. Every tale under the Heartwood Tree is infused with care, intention, and a little bit of wonder.
