FENN THE FOX

Fenn is a curious, big-hearted little fox who feels things deeply—even if he doesn’t always understand them. With a patchy backpack and wide, wondering eyes, Fenn is on a journey to grow, to feel, and to find his way through the twists and turns of being young.

In every Heartwood Tale, Fenn meets a new friend beneath the magical Heartwood Tree—each one shining with a special kind of wisdom. Whether he’s learning how to be kind, patient, joyful, or brave in the dark, Fenn always starts with questions, not answers. And that’s what makes him so important.

He’s not perfect. He’s real.
He laughs too hard, stomps when he’s frustrated, and sometimes feels so many feelings at once that they all spill out. But with each story, Fenn learns to name what he’s feeling, listen to his heart, and take one small, brave step toward emotional growth.

Fenn is the child’s voice in the story—the learner, the feeler, the explorer.
And through his eyes, children are reminded:
